For guests arriving the night before and staying at hotels near Nội Bài Airport, pick-up will be at Kim Anh Junction (entrance of the Hanoi – Lao Cai Expressway, about 3 km from the airport) between 07:45–08:00.
13:00–13:30: Arrival in Sapa. Guests go to the hotel for lunch, then check in and rest immediately (if staying at Long Anh Hotel). For other hotel options, guests will rest for about 30 minutes after lunch before the afternoon sightseeing program.
Afternoon: The tour guide will pick up guests and take them to visit Cat Cat Village to learn about the daily life of the H’Mong ethnic people, visit Tien Sa Waterfall, and explore many beautiful photo spots within the tourist area. Guests will also enjoy a traditional cultural performance (scheduled at the old hydroelectric station).
18:00: Dinner at a local restaurant. Free time in the evening. Guests may take photos at Sapa Stone Church, explore the Sapa Love Market held every Saturday night, or simply enjoy local grilled specialties with the famous San Lùng rice wine to warm up in the cold Sapa weather. Overnight in Sapa.
07:00: Guests have breakfast at the hotel and relax. Enjoy a hot morning coffee at the restaurant.
08:00: The vehicle and tour guide pick up guests and transfer to Fansipan Cable Car Station to begin the journey conquering Fansipan via the world’s most modern 3-rope cable car system, with cabins accommodating up to 30 passengers.
From the upper station, passing through Heaven’s Gate (Thanh Van Dac Lo), visitors enter a sea of clouds. Bich Van Zen Monastery, located at an altitude of over 2,000m, welcomes visitors and Buddhists from all directions with its traditional Vietnamese architecture amid drifting mist. Walking to the sound of temple bells echoing through mountains and clouds, at around 3,000m altitude, you will see the Great Amitabha Buddha statue made of bronze, 21.5m high, standing majestically in the mist, looking compassionately over the human world. In this serene and sacred moment, as spring warmth arrives and new buds of rhododendrons, raspberries, peaches, and plums begin to sprout, you may feel blossoms of love and hope blooming within your heart.
From the Great Buddha statue, the Arhat Path—home to 18 bronze Arhat statues, each 2.5m tall, standing quietly in the drifting clouds—leads to the Kim Son Bao Thang Pagoda complex, featuring the ancient beauty of Vietnamese wooden temples from the 15th–16th centuries. Guests will visit Quan The Am Bodhisattva statue, Son Than Temple, and more. Surrounding the area are centuries-old rhododendron trees enduring the cold mountain climate, preparing to bloom in March and April with white, yellow, red, purple, and pink flowers.
Finally, after climbing 600 stone steps, guests reach the summit of Fansipan at 3,143m—the “Roof of Indochina.” From here, looking in all directions, each visitor will experience unique emotions and personal wishes they may wish to keep to themselves.
12:00: Return to Sapa town for lunch at a local restaurant.
13:00: Depart for Y Ty, a remote, high, and majestic land of outstanding natural beauty. Along the way, guests will take photos of terraced rice fields and stop at scenic viewpoints overlooking a beautiful valley with a stream originating from Muong Hum Love Stream, admiring the pristine beauty of Y Ty’s ancient forest.
16:30: Arrival in Y Ty. Guests check in at the homestay/guesthouse, freshen up, and have dinner at a local restaurant. Evening at leisure. Overnight in Y Ty.
Early in the morning, if you are lucky, you may witness a sea of clouds. The tour guide will take guests to the best viewpoint for cloud hunting at dawn. When lucky, you can see vast cloud seas lying still in the valleys, as if they are sleeping—known as the “Y Ty sea of clouds.”
06:30: Guests have breakfast, then visit Choan Then Village, home to the Ha Nhi ethnic people, famous for their mushroom-shaped houses and traditional rammed-earth walls.
08:30: Check out, pack luggage, and depart for Lung Po.
