08:00: The bus and guide take guests to Fansipan Cable Car Station to begin the journey conquering Fansipan via the world’s most modern 3-wire cable car system, with cabins accommodating up to 30 passengers.
From the upper station, passing through Heaven’s Gate (Thanh Van Dat Lo), guests enter the land of clouds. Bich Van Zen Monastery, located at an altitude of over 2,000m, welcomes visitors and Buddhists from all directions with its pure Vietnamese architectural style amid drifting mist. Walking through the sound of bells echoing in the mountains and clouds, at an altitude of 3,000m, guests can admire the Great Amitabha Buddha statue made of bronze, 21.5m high, standing majestically in the mystical clouds, looking compassionately over the world. In this sacred and peaceful moment, guests may pray while spring is approaching, as rhododendrons, raspberries, peaches, and plums begin to sprout new buds, bringing a sense of hope and love blossoming within.
From the Great Buddha statue, the Arhat Path leads you through 18 bronze Arhat statues, each 2.5m tall, serene and compassionate in the misty clouds, guiding visitors to the Kim Son Bao Thang Pagoda complex, featuring the ancient beauty of 15th–16th century Vietnamese wooden temples. Guests may also visit Avalokiteshvara Bodhisattva statue and the Mountain God Temple. The surrounding scenery is enriched by centuries-old rhododendron trees enduring the cold, preparing to bloom in March and April with white, yellow, red, and pink blossoms.
Finally, after climbing 600 stone steps, guests reach the summit of Fansipan at 3,143m – the Roof of Indochina. From here, looking in all directions, each visitor will experience unique emotions and personal wishes they may wish to keep to themselves.
11:30: Return to Sapa town, check out, have lunch, and rest.
