DAY 1: HANOI – CAT BA (MEALS: – / LUNCH / DINNER)

 

07:45: The coach picks up guests at the designated meeting point at the Hanoi Opera House or 09 Chợ Gạo, departing for Cát Bà via the Hanoi–Hai Phong Expressway . The route continues across the Tân Vũ – Lạch Huyện Bridge , the longest sea-crossing bridge in Vietnam, connecting Đình Vũ with Cát Hải Island District of Hai Phong City.

Note: On weekends, departure time may be earlier than usual. Guests are kindly requested to be at the meeting point as informed by the tour guide from the previous afternoon.

11:30: Arrival at Cát Bà island. Lunch will be served, followed by hotel check-in and rest.

Afternoon: Free time for swimming at beaches such as Cát Cò Beach 1 , Cát Cò Beach 2 , and Cát Cò Beach 3 .

18:30: Dinner. Evening at leisure to explore Cát Bà town, visit the night market, etc. Overnight in Cát Bà .

DAY 2: CAT BA – LAN HA BAY – VIET HAI VILLAGE – KAYAKING – HANOI (MEALS: BREAKFAST / LUNCH / -)

 

05:00: If possible, guests are encouraged to wake up early for a walk or take an electric car (or motorbike taxi) to visit “Cannon Fort,” where you can enjoy panoramic views of the surrounding islands either with the naked eye or through telescopes installed on site. After watching the sunrise over the sea, you can enjoy a morning coffee in the fresh atmosphere of this island paradise.

07:00: Breakfast at the hotel restaurant.

07:45–08:00: Transfer from the hotel to Ben Beo Pier.

08:30: Check-in on the cruise and begin the journey to explore Lan Ha Bay – one of the most beautiful bays in the world.

09:10: Cruise through the Cai Beo floating fishing village, one of the oldest fishing villages in the Gulf of Tonkin. Take photos while passing landmarks such as Turtle Islet and Chopstick Islet.

10:00: Visit Viet Hai Ancient Village, the only ancient village on Cat Ba Island that still preserves its wild beauty, associated with fishing and forest life. A highlight is cycling along the coastal road from the fishing port and Cat Ba National Park, experiencing fish massage, foot soaking, and visiting local households.

11:00: Arrive at the Hang Luon – Tay Keo area. Guests receive life jackets, paddles, and kayaks to begin paddling through the caves. The cave system is wide with stalactites above, with two water currents flowing in and out. Surrounded by high mountains, the scenery feels like a paradise. Guests may stop here to rest and enjoy the wild natural atmosphere.

12:30: Enjoy a seafood lunch on the cruise with specialties of Cat Ba Island.

13:30: Swim at Van Boi Beach or Ba Trai Dao Beach (depending on tidal conditions). These are among the most beautiful natural beaches in the bay, offering swimming, photography, and ocean experiences.

15:00: The boat returns to the pier. Guests disembark and transfer back to hotels to collect luggage, then depart for Hanoi.

20:30: Arrival in Hanoi. End of Cat Ba tour. See you again!

Service includes
  • Tourist coach with 7, 16, 29, 35, or 45 seats (depending on group size), operating according to the itinerary
  • 01 night at a 2-star or 3-star hotel (based on booking), with 2 guests per room (odd-numbered guests will be arranged in a triple room)
  • Meals as per program: 2 main meals at 150,000 VND/meal + 1 meal at 200,000 VND/person (lunch served on the bay)
  • 01 breakfast according to hotel standards (buffet or noodle soup depending on the day)
  • Entrance ticket to Lan Ha Bay
  • Boat sightseeing in Lan Ha Bay
  • Kayaking at Hang Luồn – Tay Kéo
  • Electric car or bicycle ticket from outside to the fish massage area
  • Tour guide serving the group according to the itinerary (weekend tours usually include a full-route guide)
  • Drinking water provided on the coach for both departure and return days: 02 bottles of 500ml per guest per tour

  • VAT invoice (GTGT): included; no extra charge if guests do not request an invoice
  • Single room surcharge applies when a guest travels alone and cannot share a room with others, or requests a private room
  • Drinks during meals, at hotels, and other personal expenses are not included
  • Motorbike taxi or electric vehicle costs to the beach if guests prefer not to walk
  • Electric car or bicycle ticket through the forest to the Ancient House area, and entrance ticket to the Ancient Village area
  • Other services not mentioned in the itinerary or not listed in the “Inclusions” section are excluded
  • Any additional or self-paid expenses mentioned in the program are not included

Tips for driver and tour guide:
If guests are satisfied with the service of the driver and tour guide, tipping is optional and at their discretion. It is not mandatory, but the customary minimum is 50,000 VND per guest per day.
Recommended tip for foreign guests: 3 USD per guest per day.

Children (please read carefully for child policy details):

  • Children aged 1–4 years: free of charge (parents are responsible for all expenses)
  • Children over 2 years to under 4 years: surcharge of 350,000 VND applies for the cruise trip to Lan Ha Bay
  • Children aged 5–9 years: charged at 75% of the tour price (separate meal portion and separate seat on the coach, but must share a bed with parents). If there are 2 paying children, no separate bed is provided
  • Children aged 10 years and above: charged as adults

Notes on purchasing seafood:

  • Seafood must be packed in a clean, sealed styrofoam box
  • No seafood is allowed in the passenger cabin
  • The driver has the right to refuse transport if seafood is not properly packed
  • The driver also has the right to refuse transport if guests buy too much seafood and there is no space in the trunk

Other notes:

  • Guests must bring valid identification documents (ID card/CCCD or passport)
  • Vegetarian guests are advised to bring their own vegetarian food if needed
  • Any unused services in the tour are non-refundable
  • The tour guide may rearrange the order of sightseeing depending on actual departure conditions while still ensuring all destinations in the itinerary are included

  • Insect repellent, anti-diarrhea medicine, and common cold/fever medicine
  • Camera, camcorder, or smartphone to capture beautiful moments

  • If necessary, guests must sign a health declaration before joining the tour
