MONG CAI - DONGXING - WANWEI BEACH - ZHUSHAN ANCIENT TOWN

06:00:
The vehicle will pick up guests at the Hanoi Opera House and depart for Mong Cai. Along the way, guests may rest and have breakfast at their own expense.

10:00:
Arrive at the Mong Cai International Border Gate, where the tour guide will welcome the group and assist with exit procedures to cross into Dongxing. During the waiting time and after crossing the border, guests will visit and take photos at:

• Bac Luan Friendship Bridge – the bridge connecting the Vietnam–China border across the Ka Long River. Here stands Border Marker 1369, marking the land boundary between Vietnam and China. The granite marker is 2.2 meters high and 50 cm wide, engraved with the national emblems of both countries.
• Ho Chi Minh Memorial Site at Bac Luan Border Station, commemorating President Ho Chi Minh’s visit across Bac Luan Bridge to Dongxing, China in 1960. The memorial, covering 261 m² with an investment of 6.3 billion VND, was inaugurated on May 19, 2019, in celebration of the 129th anniversary of his birthday.
• Vietnam–China Friendship Park, located on the right side of the Chinese border gate. Guests can explore the green park area, revolutionary martyrs’ monument, and the largest Wenchang Tower along the China border, standing 40 meters high with 7 levels and traditional Chinese architectural motifs. Afterwards, the group will enjoy a sightseeing drive around Dongxing and the Dongxing City Hall Square.

12:00:
Lunch at a local restaurant, where guests will enjoy authentic Chinese cuisine at Sơn Thành or Hạnh Phúc Restaurant.

13:00:
Check in at the hotel, then continue the tour to:

• Wanwei Fishing Village, located 27 km from Dongxing City in Jiangping Town. Together with Sơn Tâm and Mu Đầu villages, Wanwei forms the “Three Islands” area, home to the Jing ethnic community of Vietnamese origin for over 500 years.
• Jin Tan Beach, a beautiful beach destination lined with restaurants, hotels, and souvenir shops. Visitors can admire the scenery of Wanwei fishing village, enjoy the fresh sea breeze, relax by the peaceful waves, and experience the charm of the coastal landscape.
• Zhushan Ancient Town, located at the southwesternmost point of mainland China’s coastline and the meeting point between land and sea. Facing Mong Cai across the sea, the town features a solemn border guard station, the “Zero Kilometer” monument of the Guangxi border coastal road, a symbolic square, and the mangrove forest at the mouth of the Bac Luan River. In 2022, this beautiful China–Vietnam border fishing village was recognized as a featured project in the “Beautiful Guangxi – Rural Revitalization” program. Walking through the peaceful winding roads of Zhushan Village, surrounded by ancient houses, lantern-lined streets, banyan trees, and lush mangrove forests, leaves visitors with unforgettable memories.

17:00:
Return to the city center for dinner at Sơn Thành or Hạnh Phúc Restaurant. Overnight stay at a centrally located hotel. Guests are free to explore the city in the evening.

Suggested Evening Activities:

• Rent an electric car to explore the shopping streets (20 RMB/car/2 people)
• Shopping and strolling along Guizhou Street and Nongshang Street – the busiest streets in Dongxing, featuring YOLO bakery shops, Yi He Kao Nai roasted milk tea, cafés, fashion stores, shoe shops, 2.5 RMB stores, sportswear outlets, and the Eon Sang Jin area
• Guests interested in karaoke, bars, or pubs may visit the Western Street area
• For those wanting to experience a traditional festive atmosphere with fireworks and firecrackers like the Lunar New Year celebrations of decades past, fireworks can be purchased and enjoyed in the spacious Western Street area

Dongxing’s night markets offer a wide variety of Chinese-style snacks and grilled dishes, including chicken feet, duck wings, duck feet, stinky tofu, DO&ME fried chicken, and many more.

07:30:
Breakfast at the hotel, followed by check-out procedures.

09:00:
The tour guide will take guests to visit and learn about traditional Chinese medicine at Duc Nhan Duong Traditional Chinese Medicine Center. Here, guests will be introduced to the thousands-year-old Chinese traditional medicine culture and may enjoy free consultation, health check-ups, and pulse diagnosis.

10:00:
The guide will escort guests for shopping at Tan Nhuan Phat Supermarket and the Northwest Western Street area, a district designed with Western-style architecture where guests can take memorable photos.

10:30:
Guests will visit the colorful street near the border gate for photo opportunities, then continue to Wanzhong Market, a wholesale and retail market offering agricultural products, local specialties, and handicrafts from both Vietnam and China. About 100 meters from the market, guests may visit Ho Chi Minh Pavilion, commemorating President Ho Chi Minh’s visit to Dongxing City, China on February 19, 1960.

11:00:
The guide will accompany guests on a short walk to the restaurant for lunch.

(If guests wish to stay longer for shopping and have lunch at their own expense, the guide will continue assisting the group for free time in Dongxing.)

13:30:
The guide will escort guests on foot back to Dongxing Border Gate for immigration procedures to return to Vietnam. After entering Vietnam, the vehicle and guide will transfer guests back to Hanoi. Along the way, guests may shop for souvenirs and local specialties as gifts for family and friends.

18:30:
Arrive in Hanoi. Farewell and end of the tour program!
