08:00: The car and tour guide take guests to the Fansipan Cable Car Station to begin the journey conquering Fansipan by the world’s most modern 3-rope cable car system, with cabins carrying up to 30 passengers.
From the upper station, pass through Thanh Van Gate to reach the realm of clouds. Bich Van Zen Monastery, located at an altitude of over 2,000 meters, welcomes visitors and Buddhists from all over with its traditional Vietnamese architecture surrounded by drifting mist. Walking amid the sound of bells echoing through mountains and clouds, at around 3,000 meters high, visitors can admire the Great Amitabha Buddha statue made of bronze, 21.5 meters tall, standing majestically in the mystical clouds and gazing compassionately over the world.
In this serene and sacred moment, as you join your hands in prayer amidst the warm spring atmosphere and the budding flowers of rhododendrons, raspberries, peaches, and plums, you will feel the blossoms of love and hope blooming within your heart. From the Great Buddha statue, the Arhat Path—home to 18 bronze Arhat statues, each 2.5 meters tall and peaceful in the drifting clouds—will lead you to the Kim Son Bao Thang Pagoda complex, featuring the ancient wooden Vietnamese temple architecture of the 15th–16th centuries. Here, guests may also visit the Avalokiteshvara (Goddess of Mercy) statue, the Mountain God Shrine, and more. Surrounding the area are centuries-old rhododendron trees enduring the cold mountain weather, preparing to bloom in March and April with white, yellow, red, and pink-purple flowers.
Finally, after climbing 600 stone steps, guests reach the summit of Fansipan at 3,143 meters—the Roof of Indochina. From here, looking out in all directions, each visitor will experience a unique feeling and personal wishes they may wish to keep in their heart.
