Hong Van Beach is located in Hong Hai village, Dong Tien commune, Co To district, Quang Ninh province. The beach captivates visitors with its crystal-clear seawater, long coastline, and fine white sand. When visiting here, tourists also have the opportunity to explore many exciting beach tourism activities.

DAY 1: HANOI – AO TIEN PORT – CO TO (MEALS: – / LUNCH / DINNER)

06:00:
The vehicle and tour guide pick up guests at the meeting point (Hanoi Opera House) and depart for Van Don via the Hanoi – Hai Phong – Van Don expressway. Along the way, the bus will continue picking up guests at several fixed stops such as: Hung Yen Rest Stop (06:45–07:00), V52 Hai Duong (07:15–08:00), where guests can have breakfast at their own expense. The bus will also pick up guests near the Bach Dang Bridge area in Hai Phong City between 08:30–09:00.

11:00:
Lunch in Van Don.

12:00–13:00:
Guests complete procedures to board the ferry to Co To Island. The ferry ride takes approximately 90 minutes, during which guests may freely take photos of Bai Tu Long Bay, Quan Lan Island, and other scenic views along the way.

Note: Ferry departure time may be adjusted depending on port authority arrangements or weather conditions.

Afternoon:
Arrival at Co To town, check in at the hotel, and rest. In the afternoon, guests are free to:

  • Walk around Co To town, relax on the “Love Road,” and visit and take photos at the Ho Chi Minh Monument area
  • Register with the tour guide for a trip to Co To Con Island (self-paid)
  • Hire a motorbike taxi or electric vehicle to visit Co To Lighthouse – considered the “eyes of the island.” From the lighthouse, guests can enjoy panoramic views of mountains, sea, and surrounding small islands

18:30:
Dinner at a local restaurant.
(Note: On departure days, guests may choose to pay an additional fee to organize a BBQ dinner, cultural exchange, campfire, or karaoke session with the tour guide.)

Evening is free to explore Co To town. Overnight in Co To.

DAY 2: DRAGON CLAW ROCKS – VAN CHAY BEACH – HONG VAN BEACH (MEALS: BREAKFAST / LUNCH / DINNER)

05:00:
The tour guide will gather guests in the hotel lobby and transfer them to visit and take beautiful sunrise photos at Dragon Claw Rocks, Mỵ Bridge, and Ong Minh Cape. This is the perfect time when the sun rises over the vast ocean, offering the most magnificent scenery on Co To Island.

07:00:
Return to the hotel for breakfast and rest.

08:00:
The coach takes guests to Van Chay Beach for swimming – a beach with long stretches of fine white sand. It is widely considered the most beautiful beach on Co To Island. Guests may also enjoy beach activities such as football and volleyball.

11:30:
Lunch at the hotel, followed by rest.

Afternoon:
The vehicle continues to take guests to Hong Van Beach – the most beautiful beach in Northern Vietnam, featuring turquoise sea and golden sand, with views of Co To Con Island, Thanh Lan Island, and Hon De in the distance.

Here, guests can enjoy relaxing time at Co To Park with exciting activities such as mountain climbing, slides, balancing games, water volleyball, kayaking, and sailing on crystal-clear waters.
(Entrance fee to the park is at guests’ own expense.)

18:30:
Dinner at the hotel. Evening is free at leisure. Overnight stay in Co To.

 
DAY 3: CO TO ISLAND – CAI RONG PORT – HANOI (MEALS: BREAKFAST / LUNCH / – )

Morning:
Breakfast at the hotel. In the morning, guests are free to stroll around Co To town and shop for Co To seafood as gifts, such as sun-dried squid, geoduck clams, and blood cockles.

Note: When purchasing seafood, guests are required to pack items carefully in foam boxes. All seafood will be stored in the luggage compartment of the coach. Guests are advised to consider carefully the amount of seafood purchased, as the tour operator, driver, and tour guide are not responsible for any issues related to bulky goods causing lack of storage space or inconvenience with luggage handling.

08:30:
Guests gather at the hotel for check-out, pack their luggage, and prepare to transfer to the pier to take the high-speed ferry back to Van Don Port.

11:00:
Lunch at a local restaurant. After lunch, the group continues the journey back to Hanoi by coach. On the way, there will be a stop to purchase Hai Duong green bean cakes as souvenirs.

18:00:
Arrival in Hanoi. End of the tour program. Farewell and see you again!

    If guests are satisfied with the service of the driver and tour guide, they may choose to give a voluntary tip. This tip is completely optional, but the customary minimum is from 50,000 VND/guest/day.
  • Standard tipping for foreign guests: 3 USD/guest/day

  • Single room supplement: 800,000 VND/guest/tour (applied when a guest travels alone and cannot share a room with others, or upon the guest’s request for a private room)

Children Policy (Please read carefully to understand the standards for children):

  • Children from 1–4 years old: free of service charges. Parents are responsible for all expenses related to the child, and the child does not occupy a seat on the vehicle.
    • Each 2 adults may accompany only 1 free child. From the second child onward, 50% of the tour price will be charged (including half meal portion and a separate seat on the vehicle).

Note:

  • If 1 adult travels with 1 free-child, the child must pay 50% of the adult tour price.
    • The 50% child rate includes half meal portions and a separate seat on the coach.
    • If additional entrance ticket fees arise due to height or age regulations at tourist sites, the family must pay 100% of the child’s ticket cost.

High-Speed Ferry Ticket Policy (as regulated by the ferry operator):

  • Children aged 1–2 years: surcharge of 400,000 VND for round-trip high-speed ferry tickets
  • Children aged 3–4 years: surcharge of 500,000 VND for round-trip high-speed ferry tickets
  • Children aged 5–9 years: charged 75% of the basic tour price + any additional ferry fare difference as regulated by the ferry operator
    (includes separate meals and a separate seat on the vehicle, but must share a bed with parents. Even when paying for 2 children, no separate bed is provided)
  • Children from 10 years old and above: charged as adults
  • For 3–4 guests sharing one room: discount of 100,000 VND per person will be applied
Cancel conditions

  • Changes to the departure date made at least 05 days before departure: no penalty
  • The departure date can only be changed once; any subsequent changes will incur a 30% change fee
  • Cancellation made at least 07 days before departure: 30% penalty
  • Cancellation made 04 to 06 days before departure: 50% penalty
  • Cancellation made 02 to 03 days before departure: 80% penalty
  • Cancellation made 01 day before departure or No-show: 100% penalty

Notes on Purchasing Seafood:

In case guests purchase seafood, all items must be properly packed in clean and tightly sealed foam boxes. The driver has the right to refuse transportation if seafood is brought onto the vehicle without proper packaging.

No seafood is allowed inside the passenger seating area. The driver also has the right to refuse transportation if guests purchase excessive seafood and there is no available space in the vehicle’s trunk.

Other Important Notes:

  • Tour participants (especially those involving boats, trains, or flights) must carry valid identification documents (ID card/CCCD/Passport).
    • Children under 14 years old must bring a birth certificate.
    • Children from 14 years old and above must have a Citizen ID card or passport.
  • Guests are advised to bring basic medication such as anti-diarrhea medicine and common cold/fever medicine.
  • Vegetarian guests are advised to bring their own vegetarian food to suit personal dietary needs.
  • Any unused services included in the tour are non-refundable.
  • The tour guide has the right to rearrange the order of sightseeing locations depending on actual departure conditions, while still ensuring all destinations in the itinerary are included.
