Detailed Itinerary:
07:00–07:30: The bus and tour guide pick up guests in Hanoi Old Quarter and at Hanoi Opera House, then depart for Ninh Binh.
10:30: Arrive in Ninh Binh. The bus takes guests to Tuyet Tinh Coc – a place once considered a fairyland paradise and now known as a peaceful green oasis separated from the outside world. Guests are free to climb 205 stone steps to visit Am Tien Cave and Am Tien Pagoda halfway up the mountain. The cave resembles the mouth of a dragon, so it is also called Dragon Cave. Inside are many stalactites shaped like rice plants, money trees, Buddha’s hand fruits, lotus buds, and dripping water formations. Am Tien Pagoda is where Queen Mother Duong Van Nga spent her final years in monastic life. From the pagoda, guests can overlook the crystal-clear lake below, locally known as Ao Giai, surrounded by dramatic limestone cliffs, creating a heavenly landscape.
Note: Tuyet Tinh Coc is mainly a free photo-taking destination. The tour guide will introduce the site and assist with entrance tickets, while guests explore and take photos freely according to the scheduled meeting time.
11:30: Arrive at Mua Cave. Guests walk along winding paths surrounded by greenery and beautiful rock garden landscapes before beginning the climb of 500 stone steps to the top of Mua Mountain. From the summit, guests can enjoy panoramic views of the vast Hoa Lu countryside, peaceful yet magnificent like a watercolor painting. On the way back, guests pass by a lotus pond nestled among limestone mountains, creating a romantic and ancient atmosphere. Traditional costume rental is available here for photography.
13:00: Lunch at a local restaurant and rest.
14:00: The bus and tour guide take guests to Tam Coc wharf to purchase tickets and board a boat for a visit to the Tam Coc Ecotourism Area. During the journey, the boat passes through three famous caves: Hang Ca (First Cave), Hang Hai (Second Cave), and Hang Ba (Third Cave). After about 2 hours, guests return to Tam Coc pier.
17:00: Return to Hanoi by bus.
19:30: Arrive in Hanoi. End of the tour. See you again!
