VAT invoice (if an invoice is required, it must be requested in advance and an additional VAT fee will be charged according to regulations).
• Round-trip Fansipan cable car ticket. Guests may register in advance when booking the tour or pay directly to the tour guide in Sapa at the actual retail ticket price with no additional charges. In case guests or partners purchase their own tickets, the tour price will incur an additional surcharge of 50,000 VND/person, or guests will arrange their own visit to Fansipan.
• Muong Hoa train ticket and mountain railway ticket. These are optional tickets that guests may purchase for additional experiences; having or not having these tickets does not affect the tour itinerary.
• Drinks during meals, at the hotel, and other personal expenses.
• Tour guide accompanying the group to the top of Fansipan in case the group has 3 guests or fewer.
• Driver and tour guide tipping:
In case guests are satisfied with the service of the driver and tour guide, tipping is optional. This amount is not mandatory but is typically from 50,000 VND/guest/day.
For foreign guests, the standard tip is 3 USD/guest/day.
• Mandatory additional costs: Single room surcharge in case a guest travels alone and cannot be paired with another guest, or requests a private room. The surcharge depends on the hotel’s specific rate.
Cancellation and rescheduling policy:
• Date change requests must be made at least 03 days before departure. The first change is free of charge. The 2nd, 3rd, etc. changes will incur a 30% fee per change. Booking information must remain unchanged when rescheduling.
• Cancellation at least 07 days before departure: 30% penalty.
• Cancellation at least 03 days before departure: 50% penalty.
• Cancellation within 1–2 days before departure: 100% penalty.
• On the departure date, if the guest does not show up at the agreed time and location, or cannot be contacted via the provided phone number and does not proactively notify the operator of any changes, it will be considered a voluntary cancellation (“no-show”) and a 100% penalty of the tour value will be charged.
• Other general notes:
• Guests joining the tour must carry valid identification documents (Citizen ID/Passport). Children under 14 years old must bring a birth certificate. Children aged 14 and above are required to have a Citizen ID or Passport.
• It is recommended to bring anti-diarrhea medication and common fever/cold medicine.
• Vegetarian guests are advised to bring their own vegetarian food to suit their dietary preferences.
• Any services included in the tour that are not used by the guest for reasons not caused by the tour operator will not be refunded.
• The tour guide has the right to rearrange the order of sightseeing spots depending on daily conditions, as long as all destinations in the program are still fully included.
(*) Customer responsibilities:
• Customers are fully responsible for their own health in all circumstances. Customers are required to inform the tour operator of any personal medical conditions (if any) to receive appropriate health advice for each registered tour.
• Customers are responsible for safeguarding their personal belongings at all times and in all places during the trip. The tour operator is not responsible for any loss of money, valuables, air tickets, or personal belongings during the journey.
