Dongxing is a city that was established during the Ming Dynasty and flourished during the Qing Dynasty, with a history of more than 400 years. It belongs to Fangchenggang City, Guangxi, China. Thanks to its favorable geographical location, the city borders Vietnam to the west and is only about 100 meters from Mong Cai City, separated by a river between the two countries. Dongxing is also home to the Jing ethnic group of China and is considered the ancestral homeland of the Chinese Hoa community
