HANOI - MONG CAI - DONGXING - VAN VI BEACH - ZHUSHAN ANCIENT TOWN - JINSA WATERFALL RAFTING

06:00: The vehicle will pick up guests at the Hanoi Opera House for departure to Mong Cai. Along the way, guests may rest and have breakfast at their own expense.

10:00: Arrive at the Mong Cai International Border Gate, where the tour guide will welcome the group and assist with exit procedures to cross into Dongxing, China. During the waiting time and after crossing the border, guests will visit and take photos at:

• Bac Luan Friendship Bridge – the bridge connecting the border between Vietnam and China across the Ka Long River. Here stands Border Marker 1369, marking the land boundary of Vietnam. The marker is 2.2 meters high, 50 cm wide, made of granite, and engraved with the national emblems of Vietnam and China.
• President Ho Chi Minh Memorial Site at Bac Luan Border Guard Station, commemorating President Ho Chi Minh’s crossing of Bac Luan Bridge in 1960 to visit the people of Dongxing, China. Construction began in June 2018 with an area of 261 m² and a total investment of VND 6.3 billion. The site was completed and officially opened on May 19, 2019, in celebration of the 129th anniversary of President Ho Chi Minh’s birthday.

12:00: Guests will enjoy lunch at a local restaurant, where they can experience authentic Chinese cuisine at Son Thanh or Hanh Phuc Restaurant.

14:00: In the afternoon, guests continue sightseeing with:

• Vietnam–China Friendship Park, located on the right side of the Chinese border gate. Here guests can explore green gardens, the Revolutionary Martyrs Memorial, and the largest Van Xuong Tower on the China border area, standing 40 meters high with 7 floors and decorated with beautiful traditional Chinese motifs.
• A city tour around Dongxing City, including the square in front of Dongxing City Hall.
• Visit Duc Nhan Duong Traditional Chinese Medicine Center to learn about the famous thousand-year-old Chinese traditional medicine. Guests will receive free consultation, health check-up, and pulse diagnosis.
• Shopping at Tan Nhuan Phat Supermarket and the Bac Dau Western Quarter, an area built with Western-style architecture where guests can take memorable photos.

17:00: The vehicle takes guests to a restaurant for dinner in Dongxing. In the evening, guests are free to explore and shop around the city before overnight stay at a hotel in downtown Dongxing.

07:30: Enjoy breakfast at the hotel and relax while preparing personal belongings and luggage.

09:00: The vehicle takes the group to visit:

• Van Vi Fishing Village, located 27 km from Dongxing City, in Jiangping Town. Together with the nearby island villages of Son Tam and Mu Dau, Van Vi forms the “Three Islands” area, home to Vietnamese-origin Jing people for more than 500 years.
• Zhushan Village (also known as Zhushan Ancient Town), located at the southwesternmost point of China’s mainland coastline. This is where China’s land meets the sea, facing Mong Cai across the water. The area features a majestic border guard station, the Monument of Border Route Marker No. 0 of Guangxi, the “Mountains and Waters Connected” Square, and the mangrove forest at the mouth of the Bac Luan River. In 2022, this beautiful fishing village on the China–Vietnam border was selected as a featured project in the “Beautiful Guangxi – Rural Revitalization” program. Walking along the peaceful, winding, and clean roads of Zhushan Village, visitors can admire ancient houses, lantern-lined streets, giant banyan trees, and the stunning scenery of the sea and green mangrove forests — creating unforgettable memories for every traveler.
• Van Vi, together with Son Tam and Mu Dau villages, has formed the “Three Islands” community where Vietnamese-origin Jing people have lived for over 500 years. Kim Than Beach in Van Vi is an attractive tourist destination with beautiful scenery, lined with restaurants, hotels, and souvenir shops. Visitors can enjoy the peaceful fishing village atmosphere, breathe fresh sea air, relax by the ocean, and play with the gentle waves along the sandy beach for a truly enjoyable holiday experience.

11:30: Lunch at a restaurant in the Van Vi Beach area. After lunch, guests continue by vehicle to visit and experience Jinsha Waterfall Rafting. Here, guests can immerse themselves in mountain nature and flowing streams while enjoying the thrilling waterfall sliding activity. The rafting experience lasts approximately 1 hour and 30 minutes, descending from the mountain peak through natural waterfalls.

Note: Guests are responsible for transportation costs from Van Vi to Jinsha Waterfall and the rafting ticket fee. The waterfall rafting area is only open during summer (from May to September). During the off-season when rafting is unavailable, guests will return to Dongxing City after lunch, check in at the hotel, and enjoy free time in the afternoon for shopping, snacks, coffee, or exploring shopping streets and supermarkets in Dongxing.

17:00: The vehicle takes guests back for dinner at a restaurant in Dongxing City. Evening free at leisure.

Suggested Evening Activities:

• Rent an electric cart to explore shopping streets around the city (about 20 RMB/cart for 2 people).
• Shopping at Guizhou Road and Nong Thuong Street — the busiest shopping streets in Dongxing with Yolo bakery shops, Yi He Kao Nai roasted milk tea, cafés, clothing stores, shoe shops, 2.5 RMB stores, sports brand outlets, and the Eon Sang Jin shopping area.
• Guests who enjoy nightlife can visit karaoke lounges, bars, and pubs in the Western Quarter. If you would like to experience the festive atmosphere of traditional Chinese celebrations from over 20 years ago, you may also purchase fireworks and firecrackers to enjoy in the spacious Western Quarter area.
