DAY 1: HANOI – NOI BAI – LUNG PO – Y TY (LUNCH / DINNER)

06:30: Travel by standard seated vehicle or double-bed cabin bus, departing from 160 Tran Quang Khai Street, Hanoi, for Lao Cai.

11:30: Arrive in Lao Cai and enjoy lunch at a local restaurant. After lunch, continue to Lung Po. The vehicle will take you along the upper reaches of the Red River, with Vietnam on one bank and China on the other, to Lung Po Junction, where the Red River begins its journey into Vietnamese territory.

Note: If traveling from Hanoi by double-bed cabin bus, you will transfer to a standard seated vehicle in Lao Cai for the journey to Y Ty.

14:30: Visit Lung Po Flag Tower and take commemorative photos at the historic Red River Junction, where the Red River flows into Vietnam.

16:00: Continue the journey to Y Ty. Along the way, admire vast terraced rice fields stretching from A Lu to Y Ty. If weather conditions are favorable and a sea of clouds appears, you may witness clouds extending for dozens of kilometers along the route, filling the valleys between Vietnam and China.

18:00: Arrive in Y Ty and check in at the homestay. Freshen up before enjoying dinner at a local restaurant. The evening is free for relaxation and leisure. Enjoy the refreshing, cool atmosphere of this beautiful highland region.

DAY 2: Y TY CLOUD HUNTING – NOI BAI – HANOI (BREAKFAST / LUNCH)

Early in the morning, if a sea of clouds is visible, the tour guide will take you to the best viewpoint for cloud hunting. If you are lucky, you may witness the clouds resting peacefully in the valleys below, creating the magical spectacle known as the Y Ty Sea of Clouds.

07:30: Enjoy breakfast, then visit Choan Then Village, famous for its distinctive mushroom-shaped houses with traditional earthen walls built by the Ha Nhi ethnic minority.

Depending on your preferences and available time, you may hire a local motorbike taxi to visit the border area around Thien Sinh Bridge and Border Marker No. 87. Enjoy the memorable 8-kilometer journey from Y Ty town center to this remote border destination. (Motorbike taxi fees are at your own expense.)

09:00: Check out, pack your luggage, and board the vehicle for the return journey to Hanoi.

11:30: Enjoy lunch in Lao Cai City, followed by free time for shopping at Coc Leu Border Market, if time permits.

14:30: Gather at the meeting point and depart for Hanoi.

20:00: Arrive in Hanoi. The tour concludes. We look forward to welcoming you again!

Transportation by standard seated vehicle or double-bed cabin bus, according to the itinerary.
One night’s accommodation in a private homestay or guesthouse room, based on 2 guests per room (3 guests per room for odd-numbered bookings). Alternatively, shared dormitory-style homestay accommodation is available upon request when booking.
Three main meals at VND 150,000 per person per meal and one breakfast in Y Ty at VND 40,000 per person.
A Vietnamese-speaking tour guide accompanying the group according to the itinerary. For groups of fewer than 10 guests, the driver may also act as the tour guide. If traveling from Hanoi to Lao Cai by double-bed cabin bus, no tour guide will accompany the group from Hanoi.
Drinking water provided on the vehicle, at a rate of one bottle per person per day.

Children aged 1–4: Tour services are free of charge; only the vehicle seat fee applies, in accordance with current road traffic regulations on the maximum number of passengers permitted in each type of vehicle.
Important: Parents are responsible for any other additional expenses incurred for their children. Two adults may accompany only one child aged 1–4 free of charge. From the second child onward, the 75% tour rate applies. If one adult travels with one child aged 1–4, the child must also pay 75% of the adult tour price and will receive the same services as a child paying 75%.
Children aged 5–9: 75% of the tour price. This includes meals and a separate seat on the vehicle. However, for tours lasting 2 days or more that include hotel accommodation, children must share a bed with their parents.
Children aged 10 and above: Full adult tour price, with the same service standards as adults.

Cancel conditions

DATE CHANGES, CANCELLATIONS, AND REFUNDS

Changing the departure date: Requests must be made at least 3 days before departure. The first departure-date change is free of charge. The second and subsequent changes will incur a fee of 30% per change. The booking details must remain unchanged when rescheduling.
Cancellation at least 7 days before departure: A 30% cancellation fee applies.
Cancellation at least 3 days before departure: A 50% cancellation fee applies.
Cancellation 1–2 days before departure: A 100% cancellation fee applies.
No-show on the departure date: If you fail to arrive at the agreed meeting point at the scheduled time, or the tour guide cannot contact you using the phone number you provided and you do not proactively get in touch to report any changes, you will be considered to have voluntarily abandoned the tour and will be charged 100% of the tour price.

All travelers must bring valid identification documents, such as a national ID card or passport. Children under 14 must bring at least a birth certificate. Children aged 14 and above must carry a national ID card or passport.
We recommend bringing basic medication for diarrhea, colds, and fever.
Vegetarian travelers are advised to bring additional vegetarian food to suit their dietary preferences.
No refunds will be provided for any tour services that travelers choose not to use, unless the non-use results from a fault attributable to the tour operator.
The tour guide reserves the right to rearrange the order of sightseeing stops according to the conditions on each departure date, provided that all attractions listed in the itinerary are covered.
As this is a join-in group tour, the tour will operate only when the minimum requirement of 8 registered guests is met.
