6-Day Vietnam Highlands & Coastal Journey: Da Lat – Mui Ne – Nha Trang

Day 1: Arrival in Da Lat

Welcome to Da Lat – the City of Flowers! Upon arrival at Cam Ranh Airport, your guide and driver will welcome you and transfer you to Da Lat. Upon arrival, check in at your hotel and enjoy some time to relax.

Note: Standard check-in time is 14:00. Early check-in is subject to room availability.

In the evening, enjoy dinner featuring delicious local specialties. After dinner, you are free to explore Da Lat at your own pace, take a stroll around the city, or relax at the hotel.

Day 2: Da Lat Countryside & Cau Dat Tea Plantation

After breakfast at the hotel, your guide and driver will pick you up at 09:00 to begin a scenic journey through the countryside of Da Lat and toward Cau Dat.

Along the way, enjoy the refreshing scenery of green hills and mountains characteristic of Vietnam’s Central Highlands. One of the highlights of the day is Cau Dat Tea Plantation, where you can enjoy the fresh air, learn about traditional tea cultivation and production, and admire endless green tea hills.

Take time to enjoy a cup of hot tea in a peaceful setting, learn about the local tea-making process, and capture beautiful photos among the lush tea plantations.

Continue your journey to visit local organic farms, learn about the daily life of local farmers, and sample fresh seasonal vegetables and fruits. Then, stop at a hillside café to enjoy locally produced coffee while taking in breathtaking mountain views.

Lunch will be served at a local restaurant. After lunch, continue to Lado Winery, where you can learn about the wine-making process and the development of Vietnam’s wine industry. Enjoy a wine tasting before returning to your hotel.

In the evening, you are free to explore Xuan Huong Lake, Da Lat Night Market, or sample some of the city’s famous street food.

Day 3: Da Lat – Ho Chi Minh City – Mui Ne

After breakfast, check out of the hotel. Your driver and guide will pick you up and transfer you to the airport for your flight to Ho Chi Minh City.

Upon arrival in Ho Chi Minh City, you will be welcomed by your private driver and guide before continuing your journey to Mui Ne, approximately 3.5–4 hours by road.

On the way, stop for lunch at a local restaurant in Ho Chi Minh City before continuing to Mui Ne.

Upon arrival, check in at your hotel and enjoy some free time to relax. You may unwind on the beach, explore the surrounding area, or enjoy fresh seafood at one of the local restaurants.

Famous for its sunny beaches, vast sand dunes, and peaceful seaside atmosphere, Mui Ne is an ideal destination to relax after your journey through Da Lat.

Day 4: Mui Ne Sand Dunes by Jeep & ATV – Transfer to Nha Trang

After breakfast, check out at around 09:00 and begin your Mui Ne sightseeing tour by Jeep.

Your first stop is Fairy Stream, where you can take a leisurely walk along the shallow stream surrounded by unique rock formations and colorful sand dunes.

Continue to the Red Sand Dunes, where you can enjoy panoramic views of Mui Ne and take memorable photos. Then, visit a local fishing village and fish-farming area to discover the traditional lifestyle and daily activities of local coastal communities.

Continue to the White Sand Dunes, one of the most spectacular landscapes in Mui Ne. Here, enjoy an exciting ATV adventure for approximately 30 minutes, exploring the vast sand dunes and experiencing the thrill of riding across the sandy terrain.

After the excursion, enjoy lunch at a local restaurant before continuing to Nha Trang, approximately 4–4.5 hours by road.

Upon arrival in Nha Trang, check in at your hotel and enjoy some free time. In the late afternoon or evening, relax on the beach, explore the city, go shopping, or enjoy fresh local seafood.

Day 5: Nha Trang Island Discovery – Snorkeling & Mud Bath Experience

After breakfast, you will be picked up at 09:00 to begin a full day exploring the highlights of Nha Trang.

Your first stop is the Institute of Oceanography, where you can discover Vietnam’s marine ecosystems and learn about various species of marine life.

Then, board a boat and begin your journey through Nha Trang Bay. Along the way, stop for photos outside Tri Nguyen Aquarium before continuing to the island area.

At Hon Tam Island, enjoy a snorkeling experience, discover colorful coral reefs, and relax in the crystal-clear waters.

Continue to Mieu Fishing Village to experience local culture and learn more about the traditional lifestyle of local fishermen. You can also experience a traditional Vietnamese basket boat and discover the unique way of life in this coastal fishing community.

Enjoy a seafood lunch at a resort on the island. After lunch, spend some time swimming, relaxing, and enjoying the beautiful island surroundings.

In the afternoon, return to the mainland and continue to a hot mineral spring and mud bath facility. Relax in warm mineral waters and enjoy a rejuvenating mud bath, one of Nha Trang’s most popular wellness experiences.

After the tour, your driver will transfer you back to the hotel for a relaxing evening.

Day 6: Nha Trang – Flight to Ho Chi Minh City

Enjoy breakfast at the hotel and check out.

Your driver and guide will pick you up at the hotel and transfer you to Cam Ranh International Airport for your flight back to Ho Chi Minh City, marking the end of your 6-day Da Lat – Mui Ne – Nha Trang journey.
