Elite of the Seas Cruise – Child Policy & Holiday Surcharge 

Below is the child policy, extra bed policy, and holiday surcharge for Elite of the Seas Cruise in Halong Bay and Lan Ha Bay. These policies apply to the standard Elite of the Seas luxury cruise packages.

1. Holiday Surcharge Policy

• The following surcharges apply during major holidays and will be added to the Elite of the Seas Cruise package price.
• Christmas & New Year (Western Holidays):24 December (Christmas Eve) & 31 December (New Year’s Eve)

Surcharge:

• Adults: 1,120,000 VND per person
• Children: 800,000 VND per child
• Lunar New Year & Other Public Holidays
• Applicable dates include:

Vietnamese Lunar New Year:

• Lunar New Year’s Eve
• 1st, 2nd, and 3rd day of Lunar New Year

Additional dates:

• 28 January, 29 January, 30 January, 31 January
• Surcharge:300,000 VND per person
• These additional charges are applied during peak travel periods for Halong Bay luxury cruises.

2. Extra Bed Policy

• This policy applies when three adults stay in one cabin on Elite of the Seas Cruise.
• The third adult staying in the cabin (with or without an extra bed or mattress) will be charged 100% of the adult rate.

Note:

• Extra beds (standard size 1m x 2m) are limited.
• Availability must be confirmed with the reservation department in advance.

3. Child Policy

• Children from 1 – 4 years old
• First child: Free of charge when sharing the bed with parents.
• Second child in the same cabin: Charged 50% of the adult rate.
• Children from 5 – 10 years old: Charged 75% of the adult rate & Child shares bed with parents (no extra bed provided).
• Children from 11 years old and above: Charged 100% of the adult rate (considered as adults).

4. Maximum Cabin Occupancy

• Each cabin on Elite of the Seas Cruise can accommodate:
• Maximum 2 adults + 2 children under 11 years old, or 3 adults

Important Note:
The number of children allowed on the cruise is limited for safety and service quality. Guests are advised to contact the reservation team to check child availability before confirming the booking.

• Round-trip shuttle bus: 450,000 VND per person.
• 18-seat limousine van (round trip): 600,000 VND per person.
• 9-seat limousine van (round trip): 700,000 VND per person.

2 Days 1 Night Halong Bay – Lan Ha Bay Cruise Itinerary

Day 1: Hanoi – Halong Bay – Lan Ha Bay

08:15 – 08:35 Pick-up in Hanoi Old Quarter and transfer to Halong Bay.
12:15 Speedboat transfer to the cruise.
12:45 – 13:00 Check-in and enjoy lunch onboard.
14:00 Receive cabin and relax.
15:00 – 17:00 Activities: kayaking, swimming, outdoor pool, spa or relaxing on sundeck.
17:00 – 18:00 Sunset party & afternoon tea.
18:00 Cooking class and Happy Hour at the bar.
19:00 Dinner onboard.
20:30 Evening activities: squid fishing, mini golf, spa, or relaxing on the cruise.

Overnight on the cruise.

Day 2: Lan Ha Bay – Bright & Dark Cave – Hanoi

05:45 Sunrise viewing or morning golf.
06:15 Tai Chi session on the sundeck.
06:45 Breakfast.
07:30 Visit Bright & Dark Cave by bamboo boat or kayak.
09:00 Check-out and pack luggage.
09:45 Brunch while cruising back.
10:45 Return to harbor.
14:00 – 14:30 Drop-off in Hanoi Old Quarter.

Optional experiences: private beach visit, SUP paddling, fishing, snorkeling, seafood BBQ, and floating fishing village tours.
